Switching majors half way through her college career, Lisa is now finishing up her bachelor's degree in Art at The Ohio State University. During the transition from a Japanese major to an Art major, Lisa was exposed to the postmodern Japanese art movement called "Superflat", which she credits giving her the desire to pursue art as a career.

Lisa's paintings reflect a fascination of viral images, or memes, found digitally on the internet. Her illustrations are detail driven explorations in ink. Influences include media, pop culture, poster art, hip-hop, rock and fashion.

When not creating art for pleasure, Lisa works as a graphic designer and co-founder of Option D Design. Lisa creates package, print and logo designs. She also has a special passion for typography and color theory and is constantly trying to teach herself more on the subjects.
