Proposal Title
Operation Stinkybomb
Please describe your proposal?
My proposal is to turn my growing craft hobby into a full fledged company by diving into wholesale markets.
I have attended craft shows throughout the Midwest, which has given me the confidence to move my craft to the next level. Expanding Stinkybomb's into a wholesale arena, would allow me to grow my business while attending to my family.
I currently work with a limited number of molds for soap production which limits and extends deadlines for wholesale turnover. While we make the molds ourselves to create them is time consuming and costly.
Currently I am working with a marketing agent, who would seek out large wholesale accounts. This too is cost prohibitive and involves wholesale sample booklets.
What is the timeframe for the proposal and its completion?
My time frame for proposal funds would quickly be put into action.
Within one to two months I could have multiple molds created for each product I currently carry.
While molds are being created I will be working with my wholesale agent on obtaining large accounts for immediate production.
How will you use the award money to complete the proposal?
I would be spending $600 towards the materials and services of creating additional molds used for production. $200 will be used to create and print wholesale line sheets. $125 would go towards the creation of turning Stinkybomb's into an LLC. The remaining balance will be used for compensation of my marketing agent.
What makes this the proposal to vote for?
By supporting my effort to turn my side business into a full fledged company you'd be assisting me in an opportunity to stay home while raising a small child. As well as allowing me to financially contribute to my growing family.
I have a strong brand and following. Attending craft shows throughout the Midwest has given me the confidence needed to move to the next level. However, travel has made it difficult to deal with while raising a family. Exploring wholesale accounts would allow me the chance to stay at home with my daughter while attending to production needs.
We have also started donating 1% of our grenade sales towards Wounded Warrior Project. A non profit group that offers finincial aid and assistance to wounded soldiers and veterans. By allowing my company to grow and expand I'll also be doing my fair share to give back to those who greatly need it and who have sacrificed so much.
