Please describe your proposal?
Finding my voice within the Columbus Arts Scene as an active member.
What is the timeframe for the proposal and its completion?
Within the next calendar year.
How will you use the award money to complete the proposal?
I will use this money primarily to find a studio space that I can dedicate to my artistic endeavors. As with all creative people, I have a lot of ideas. Large-scale paintings, series of post cards, and custom-painted musical instruments are a few examples of ideas I'd like to explore and share with the art community. Some of the money may be used for supplies to get my ideas off the ground.
What makes this the proposal to vote for?
I think this is a great opportunity for the community to invest in an artist at the start of his career and to help him explore his ideas and pursue other opportunities as his career progresses.
