Couchfire is taking part in an attempt to learn about all the creative groups in Columbus, Ohio.
The soapbox will be set up for you on July 8th, 6pm, at the Columbus Museum of Art, for groups to let everyone know the answers to those questions.

July 30, 2010 | Too Yummy!

You are invited to submit your artwork for Too Yummy! - a three-day art show celebrating all things related to food & drink. Too Yummy! is the second installment of this fun-filled event, which will raise funds for the Mid-Ohio Foodbank. 

Too Yummy! will be on view at the Ohio Art League Gallery from July 30 - August 1, 2010, with a reception on Saturday, July 31 from 6-9 pm. 

If you are interested in submitting a piece to be considered for Too Yummy!, please fill out the form below. Because of space constraints, we ask artists to limit the size of their pieces to 3 feet and smaller. 

Please be aware that this show is juried, so if you plan on submitting an idea for a piece you have not yet created, please make sure you provide a website, flickr/artist page and/or a sketch so we can see examples of your work. 

The artwork submission deadline for inclusion in the press release is July 1. Submissions will be considered until July 16

July 31, 2010 | Summer Art Market at the Gateway

South Campus Gateway
2 -8 pm

This month, the Couchfire Collective will be curating & running the Artillery Monthly Art Market in the South Campus Gateway!

The Summer Art Market will be open from 2-8 pm featuring vendors selling all types of handmade goods. The Art Market will also coincide with the reception for the Artillery intern show at the Shoebox, live music & performances in the alley, and the "Too Yummy" art show at the OAL Gallery (a fundraiser for the Mid-Ohio Foodbank).
